luna’s woodcraft
Woodworker.
I’ve been learning this craft for over a decade, a trade passed down in my family for generations.
In what began as a hobby sanding cutting boards for my dad’s business, Old Farm Reclaimed Lumber, over time I started to develop my own style and conceptualize designs I wanted to execute. Adding a laser engraver to our toolbox allowed me to customize wood with a layer of visual art.
I’ve vended festivals and craft shows, installed at breweries and coffee shops as the featured artist, showed my work at galleries, and now mostly create custom orders and stock a booth at The Generalist in Johnson City.

Reclaimed barnwood is a central feature of my craft. I love giving the material a third life: 1. tree. 2. barn. 3. art.
-
Not all art needs to just hang on a wall. I love creating pieces which can serve a second function.
-
Although wood grain patterns are beautiful enough on their own, laser engravings can make a piece even more one-of-a-kind.
